Site rules

1. No illegal content, and nothing sexual involving minors. Ever.
2. No harassment, threats, or posting someone's private information.
3. No spam, vote manipulation or multiple accounts to dodge bans.
4. Mark adult content as NSFW and spoilers as spoilers.
5. Follow each community's own rules.

Communities belong to their members

Anyone can start a community. The founder becomes its first steward, not its owner.

• Stewards are elected. Members who have been active in a community can nominate themselves, and members vote.
• Any steward can be recalled by a member vote, including the founder.
• Every steward action is public. Removals and bans need a reason and appear in the community's public log.
• Members can overturn removals and bans by voting to restore a post or lift a ban.
• Bans from stewards are temporary, up to 30 days.
• Inactive stewards step down automatically after 60 days.

Votes last 3 days (2 for appeals) and pass with more yes than no votes and enough turnout. To vote, your account must be at least 7 days old and you need to have been a member of the community for 3 days. This stops anyone from taking over a community with fresh accounts.

Site administrators

Site admins only step in for spam, illegal content and breaches of the site rules above. Those actions are also logged.
